3 Days Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safari

This trip will take you about 6-7 hours drive from Kampala to the park. Queen Elizabeth National Park is the second largest Park in Uganda with over 2000sqkm. The journey will take you to the Park with the most diversity of wildlife. This fantastic tour will take you through the savannah plain of Queen Elizabeth National Parkcharacterized with tree climbing lions, leopards, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, Kob, hyena and over 615 rare species of birds like African skimmer, pick-backed pelicans and many more. The primates include Chimps, Black and white Colobus Monkeys, Blue, Black Faced Red Colobus, and Red Tailed monkeys and Olive Baboons. Enjoying also launch cruise along Kazinga Channel where a good number of crocodiles and hippos can be seen with a variety of birds, the journey will give you an enjoyable moment that you can’t easily forget.

Day1. Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park:
Early in the morning, our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel and drive you southwest to the QENP. Have a first stop over at the Equator for pictures and informative talks, and then proceed to Mbarara for lunch. You will then continue through savannah grasslands seeing tea and banana plantations, herds of Ankole cattle with their incredible long curving horns arrive at the Park in the evening. Check in at your desirable lodge / Hotel and have a rest at your room. If you have energy you can go for an evening game drive to Kasenyi Area of the Park. Here you expect to come across various species of animals such as elephants, water hogs, lions, hyenas, Uganda kobs, waterbuck and bushbuck, bird species as well as the salt lakes. Day2. Chimpanzee Trekking and Launch Cruise:
Have an early cup of tea/coffee, leave for the 7.00am chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura gorge. This may give you chance to see various primates most especially Chimpanzee our closest relatives and many more other primate species such as, Black and white Colobus monkeys, baboons vervet monkeys and many other wild animals that live in the forest such as , buffalo, hyenas, antelopes, warthogs to mention but a few. A slow drive to the lodge is made for lunch and relaxation by the side of the pool. After lunch, you will embark on a two hours launch cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward. The launch cruise will gift you with a chance to watch a thousand of hippos and crocodile that concentrate around the Lake. You may also came across a variety of games drinking at the water’s edge such as Buffalo, warthogs, elephants and a great variety of birds on the shores including the open –billed stork, African Jacana, Great White and Pink-Backed Pelicans among others. Return to the hotel for dinner and over night stay at.

Day 3.Travel to Kampala:
With previous day’s memories, get a cup of tea /coffee. After drive back to Kampala/Hotel/Entebbe reaching in the late afternoon, lunch break at Mbarara.
