The safari will begin and ends in Rwanda. It will take you to volcanoes National Park which is located in the North western part of Rwanda near the Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Mgahinga National Park in Uganda for gorilla tracking, golden monkey tracking, and hike to the Dian Fossey tomb. Every thing at the park is incredible. Combine the love of gorillas with chimps at Nyungwe National Park which lies in the South western part of Rwanda near Lake Kivu and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Nyungwe is a home of over 13 species of primates such as chimpanzee our closest relative, Owl-faced Monkey, L’Hoest’s Mountain Monkey, Angolan Colobus Monkeys among other. Also in mind don’t forget cultural walk/ canopy walk. Visiting Rwanda’s National Parks will leave you with memories that you will never for get in your entire life.
Detailed Tour itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival at the airport and transfer to Nyungwe National Park:
On arrival at the airport, you will be met and greeted by our safari representatives who will drive you to Nyungwe National Park. On your way to the park you will have en route stopover to visit Rwanda genocide memorial centre at Gisozi, interesting cultural sites, visit the National museum in Butare, visit Nyanza Museum, Malaba coffee factory and other areas for adventure and photography. Lunch en route; arrive at the park in the Evening for leisure. Dinner and an overnight stay

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking /Canopy walk/Nature walk:
Early in the morning after a cup of tea/coffee, you will proceed to Nyungwe forest with a guide to search for our closest relatives the chimp and other primates that live in the forest. The park is a home to over 13 species of primates including chimpanzee, the Angolan Colobus monkey, Olive Baboon, Grey-cheeked Mangabeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, golden monkeys, Vervet monkeys, Hamlyn’s Monkey, Silver Monkey, Red-tailed Monkey, Dent’s Mona Monkey, among other, birds can also be seen such as the sun birds, black and white casqued Hornbill to mention but a few. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation. Then in the evening go for a canopy walk or Nature walk. Here visitors have a higher chance to view a variety of plants, butterflies, birds, and different species of primates that reside in the upper levels of the forest, you can also see Lake Kivu glimmering in the distance, while facing you are the Mountains which form the boarder of Burundi. Indeed this is an amazing moment one should not miss. Come back for dinner and an overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park:
After a morning breakfast, you will head to Volcanoes National Park in Ruhengeri, driving along Lake Kivu with an attractive view with a gorgeous terraced hillside that demonstrates Rwanda’s landscape. You will arrive at Volcanoes National Park in the afternoon for lunch. The evening is reserved for leisure. Dinner and an overnight stay at.

Day 4: Gorilla tracking in Volcanoes National Park:
Early in the morning after breakfast, you will first report to the Volcanoes National Park Headquarters for briefings from the ranger guides about the dos and don’ts while with these giant apes. Then after you will head to the jungle forest to begin tracking these amazing and exciting mountain gorillas. Golden monkeys, white and black Colobus monkeys can all be seen during the track. The time taken while searching for these apes is unpredictable, as it can take between 1-8 hours depending on their movements and some level of physical fitness is required. Ounce found you stay with them strictly one hour. The activity is some how tiresome although rewarding, it is such a breathtaking moment in life that you will never forget in life. It’s recommended to carry Light rain gear, strong boots, drinking water, packed lunch, non flash camera, long khaki or jean trousers, walking stick. Day 5: Departure
After breakfast, you will depart for Kigali. Visit the Botanical Gardens and a cultural museum and then proceed to the airport/hotel, this will depend on you departure flight.
